Mel Wilkerson has been working as a weeds professional for over 15 years with Local Councils and for the last Year with Local Land Services as the Regional Biosecurity Weeds Coordinator. In addition to promoting active community engagement in the Weed Space, he has over 30 years’ experience in community engagement and presentation from the individual to the large scale audience. He is a Qualified and experience teacher in Interviewing, Debriefing and Elicitation as well as a certified Human Behavioural Consultant. He has taught presentation engagement from individual public speaking engagements through attaché and ambassador representative training in rapport building, engagement and facilitating of professionally representing yourself and your organisation in a way that the consumer and customer base wants to seek you out rather than you chasing after them.
