Dr Muhammad Nawaz is a Research Officer (Weed Biocontrol) in the Weed Research Unit (Invasive Species Biosecurity, Biosecurity and Food Safety) of the NSW Department of Primary Industries (DPI), based at Orange Agricultural Institute. Dr Nawaz joined the DPI Weed Biocontrol Research Team in 2021 and since then he has become an integral member of various high profile research projects. He completed his PhD in Weed Biocontrol at The University of Queensland. He is an emerging scientist in weed biocontrol along with having a work experience over a decade in different agricultural research and development organizations from overseas.
