Biography
I am a Principal Research Scientist (Weeds) and lead a rigorous Weed Research Program at Wagga Wagga Agricultural Institute, NSW DPI. I have more than 25 years of experience in weed research, management and extension. My research ranges from weed identification from machine learning (WeedScan) and eDNA, weed biology and ecology to chemical and non-chemical options to manage some of the high priority weeds affecting crops and environment.

Biography
Emily is a State Priority Weed Coordinator with the NSW Department of Primary Industries and the WeedScan State Coordinator for NSW. Her focus is on weed identification using machine learning (WeedScan) to promote the early detection of new and emerging weeds in Australia.
