Biography
Angel Marotte (Gus) is a Weed Biosecurity Officer for Rous County Council. Gus has 11 years’ experience in conservation and land management dealing with weeds.
Gus has a business degree but got bored with it and went to study conservation and land management. He has found great value in the field experience he has acquired through the years.
Gus spends his days searching for weeds throughout the Northern Rivers for Rous County Council as part of the NSW post-flood assistance program, engaging and improving relationships with landowners affected by the devastating floods of 2022.
