Matt is the Biosecurity officer at Port Macquarie Hastings Council, a position he has held since mid-2018. His career began in urban pest inspection, chasing termites and cockroaches all over Sydney. He then moved into Conservation and Land Management, working across the non-for-profit and private sectors before joining local government in 2012. Matt loves sharing his knowledge with community members eager to halt the spread of invasive weeds.
