Synopsis
This workshop introduces the concept of co-production in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI), focusing on inclusive engagement with children and families. Through a brief presentation and self-assessment using the ‘Ladder of Co-production,’ participants will explore levels of involvement, assess their organisation’s current practice, and reflect on strategies for meaningful inclusion. The workshop highlights the need for clear goals and organisational readiness to support successful co-production.

Biography
Laurence Stanton-Greenwood has lived experience of care. Like Angela, he has worked over 40 years as a practitioner and manager in both the education and care of young people and adults with complex needs. His primary focus is the development of the quality of life of young people with communication challenges and behaviours of concern.

Biography
Angela Stanton-Greenwood, MA, MEd, Qualified Social Worker, and Counsellor has worked with individuals with complex needs for over forty years as a practitioner in Social Care and Education and later as a Director of Quality Assurance and Workforce Development. She is now Director of her own company coordinating the work of TCI, CARE, Positive Behavior Support as a Coach and other programmes in the UK and Ireland.
