Synopsis
This presentation outlines a six-month trial using the Parent Daily Report (PDR) tool to improve placement stability in foster care by reducing carer stress and challenging behaviours in children. Carers recorded behaviour data three times a week, which guided targeted interventions supported by coaching and case consultations.
All participants reported reduced stress and behavioural incidents. The tool also uncovered high-risk behaviours, enabling timely responses. Results highlight the value of data-driven support in enhancing carer well-being and outcomes for children, offering a scalable model for foster care practice.
