Synopsis

This presentation explores the integration of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention in Schools (TCI-S) within a trauma-informed framework at a Western Australian CARE school. By combining TCI-S with Trauma-Informed Positive Behaviour Support (TI-PBS) and strategies from the Berry Street Education Model, the school has developed a holistic, data-driven approach to addressing pain-based behaviours.
