Collaborative care for Opioid Dependence: Early findings from the EPIC-MATOD implementation trial
Biography
Ali Cheetham (PhD) is a research officer at the Monash Addiction Research Centre and Turning Point. Her interests include identifying barriers and facilitators for alcohol and other drug treatment, and new models of care for opioid use disorder. Since 2020 she has worked as the project officer for the Enhancing Pharmacist Involvement in Care-Medication Assisted Treatment for Opioid Use Disorder (EPIC-MATOD) project, a multiphase project that has co-designed a collaborative model of care for MATOD, currently being evaluated in an implementation-effectiveness trial to inform broader scale-up across Victoria and nationally.
