Abstract

Biography

So Sin has been a lecturer with the Monash University Occupational Therapy department since 2017. Her PhD was on Chinese mothers of children with disabilities. Her research interests include maternal and child mental health, mother child co-occupation, family-centred practice, community mental health, post-traumatic growth, community mental health, disaster mental health, and the use of psych-dynamic perspectives in occupational therapy. She has published papers in the area of occupations of mothers, and disaster mental health. So Sin graduated from St Loye's School of Occupational Therapy in Exeter and has 15 years of clinical experience, particularly in mental health.
