Biography
Melissa works at the interface of research and healthcare, ensuring research advances in genomics translate to better patient care. Melissa brings her unique mix of expertise from previous roles in biomedical research, medical education, health program evaluation and research into psychosocial aspects of genetics to her role as Program Evaluation Lead for the Melbourne Genomics Health Alliance. Based in the Genomics in Society Group at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute, Melissa has worked within the Alliance since 2014 to support production and translation of evidence to inform implementation of genomics in healthcare.
