This session will explore the My Health Record system, its features and functionalities, and benefits and uses, as they relate to pharmacy practice. Join a specialist panel including Agency representatives and Digital Health Leaders from around Australia for an interactive Q&A session exploring the practical considerations associated with the My Health Record system, including its application in day-to-day pharmacy practice.
Learning objectives
• List the features and benefits of the My Health Record system in pharmacy practice
• Describe how to communicate the benefits of the My Health Record system to patients
• Describe the privacy and security measures taken to protect My Health Records and how to discuss privacy concerns with patients
• Describe how more comprehensive health information (accessed via My Health Records) can contribute to patient care.
