Dr Rebecca Armstrong is the Director of Evidence for Action, National Disability Insurance Agency. Her work is focussed on supporting evidence-based policy, practice and participant decisions. Rebecca has worked in both research and policy contexts and has worked specifically in the area of knowledge translation since 2007. This has included research exploring the effectiveness of knowledge translation interventions, leading the development of evidence-based resources for providers in child and family services and most recently developing evidence-based resources for NDIS participants and their families and carers. Rebecca has a background in health promotion, an MPH and a PhD in public health.

Marie Garrubba is an Assistant Director, Evidence for Action team in the Research Evaluation Branch at the NDIA. Marie leads the production of evidence informed resources and tools to support participants, families and carers with their decision making. She has over 12 years experience supporting the conduct and use of research into practice in the health and disability fields.
