                    What Makes Education Research Impactful – Case Studies of Research Projects in Singapore
Biography
                    Ms Lorraine Ow is the Unit Head, Knowledge Mobilisation (KMb)  at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She co-leads the Research-Practice-Policy Group at the Institute that aims at increasing education research use and understanding research impact to address research-practice-policy gaps in the education landscape in Singapore. Formerly a primary school teacher (English) and trained in Applied Linguistics, she brokers between researchers and stakeholders, particularly with the Ministry of Education, provides research synthesis and training in KMb (and other related fields) within research projects and as professional development at the Insititute.
