Biography
                    Melanie Lum is a PhD candidate with the University of Newcastle and an associate research fellow with Deakin University. Melanie’s research focusses on improving the healthy eating and physical activity behaviours of children attending early childhood education and care. Melanie is also a Health Promotion Officer at Hunter New England Population Health, where she is able to apply her research knowledge to practically benefit the population. In this role, she has been involved in the implementation of large trials and provided evidence-based support to childcare settings.
