Biography
Ben Tan oversees advisory engagements for partners who want to better use evidence and data for learning and improvement. He is currently leading MEL advisory engagements for projects in economic livelihoods, education and early childhood development in East Africa and South East Asia. Ben has also worked with IPA as an academic researcher on an evaluation of a social messaging campaign relating to teacher absenteeism. Prior to joining IPA, he worked as a management consultant. He holds an MPA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs and a BA/LLB from the University of Melbourne.
