Scaling up the dissemination of implementation knowledge across South Australia’s public health system

Biography

With 15-years’ experience in project, program and contract management, over the last 10-years Simon has applied this expertise in the health sector to support service management. Simon’s focus areas have included Aboriginal health, aged care, homelessness health, general practice support and regional primary health care delivery. Simon also has experience in project managing population-level health and service needs assessments (including qualitative and quantitative research elements) as well as the development and delivery of enterprise-wide planning, reporting and performance systems. Simon is a certified PRINCE2 Practitioner, PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and a member of the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM). Since April 2021 Simon has worked with ISU to provide a range of project support functions including project planning, establishment and documentation, and general business functions such as process improvement, business analysis and system building.

Abstract

Biography

Veronika works as an implementation coach in the Implementation Science Unit, Department for Health and Wellbeing South Australia. In addition, she is also a pharmacist and a PhD candidate at The University of Sydney, School of Pharmacy. She promotes applications of implementation theories, models and frameworks in the 'messy' context of practice in healthcare system.
