Abstract

Biography

With forty years experience, Dr Lyn Alderman brings a wealth of expertise to her role as Chief Evaluator. Lyn’s experience spans several sectors including government, non-profit, corporate, higher education and vocational education. She has a deep disciplinary knowledge and experience in strategy, evaluative thinking, program evaluation, evaluation frameworks, performance models, monitoring of quality assurance, institutional analytics and curriculum writing. Lyn previously held the position of Associate Director, Academic Quality and Standards, QUT (2007-2016) where she led two portfolios: evaluation and quality assurance. Her qualifications include: Doctor of Philosophy in evaluation of government policy; Master of Education in curriculum analysis; and Bachelor of Education (Adult Education). She continues to contribute to the evaluation community through her voluntary positions of: President, Australasian Evaluation Society (2014-2018); Editor, Evaluation Journal of Australasia (2012-current).
