Biography

Thillai Rajan is a Professor in the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras and an Associate at the Mossavar Rahmani Center for Business and Government, Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. He has completed five systematic reviews and evidence summary studies on international development, specifically in synthesizing the evidence in the infrastructure sector. His systematic reviews have been published in various journals such as Utilities Policy, Journal of Development Effectiveness, and Development Policy Review. In 2005, he was a awarded a Chevening Gurukul Fellowship on Leadership and Excellence at the London School of Economics. In 2008, he received an Endeavour Executive Award from the Government of Australia. In 2010, he received the Fulbright Nehru Fellowship at the Harvard Kennedy School, Harvard University. He has also received the Young Faculty Recognition Award from IIT Madras in 2008, the C.P.Ramaswamy Aiyar Award from the Association of Indian Management Schools in 2007, and the Emerald Literati Network Highly Commended Award in 2011 and 2012.
