Biography
As a Research and Evaluation Associate (and Research Project Manager) at Penn State University Kyle Hawkey leads a team of professionals (bachelor's level staff - PhD level staff) dedicated to bolstering military family readiness, resilience, and well-being. Although different in scope, each of the 14 federally-funded projects that he oversees allows him and his team to work with the U.S. Air Force Medical Operations Agency (AFMOA) in order to assist the U.S. Air Force in: (1) development, application, and implementation of medical policy; (2) research and evaluation to address healthcare resourcing and operations; and (3) providing medical resources, coordinating best practices, analyzing data, and providing clinical expertise for efficient patient-centered healthcare. He is also an Associate Professor of Psychology and Family Studies for Arizona Western College. In this role, he develops and teaches a variety of courses within the Social Sciences.
