Biography

Terri Pigott, Ph.D. is Associate Provost for Research and Professor of Research Methodology at Loyola University Chicago. She received her B.A in Psychology from the University of Notre Dame and a Ph.D. in Education from the University of Chicago, specializing in Measurement, Evaluation and Statistical Analysis. Her research interests center on methods for meta-analysis including power, missing data, individual participant meta-analysis. She is also interested in quality of research reporting and outcome reporting bias. She is a co-Editor of the Methods Group for the Campbell Collaboration, and is a past co-Chair of the Methods Group. She was a founding member of the American Educational Research Association Special Interest Group, Systematic Review and Meta-analysis, serving as co-chair. She is also a founding member of the group, Women in Quantitative Methodology (www.womenquants.org), and organization devoted to supporting women pursuing careers in quantitative research methods.
