#95 - Comprehensive Conceptual Framework for Translating Implementation Science towards Sustainability: A Systematic Narrative Review
Biography
Haribondhu Sarma is a Ph.D. candidate at the National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health. Earlier, he was affiliated with icddr,b. He has extensive research experience in leading sophisticated assessments of health and nutrition programmes, mixed methods evaluation, knowledge translation and health systems analysis. For the last 16 years, he has been working in population health programmes, mostly in the field of nutrition, vaccination, health systems, chronic disease and HIV/AIDS. Mr. Sarma led nine research projects as a Principal Investigator, conducted several large-scale evaluation studies, have been awarded more than US$2 million research grants, and published about 40 papers including peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and working papers. He has an excellent collaboration with a number of academic and research institutes, including Harvard T.H.Chan School of Public Health, KEMRI/Wellcome Trust Research Programme, IHME of the University of Washington, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and Save the Children. Before commencing the Ph.D., Mr. Sarma completed his Master’s degree in Anthropology.
