#325 - Omega-3 for the Prevention of Preterm Birth: Opportunities and Challenges of Implementation
Biography
Jamie is a qualified nutritionist and research scientist that has joined SAHMRI from New Zealand. She completed her PhD at the University of Auckland where she used metabolomics to search for biomarkers of gestational diabetes and dietary pattern analysis to investigate the association between maternal diet and gestational diabetes.
Throughout her studies and research career, Jamie has collaborated with research groups from Singapore, China, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, and presented her work both within New Zealand and internationally.
As a Translation Research Officer at Health Mothers, Babies, and Children, Jamie is predominantly involved in the translation and implementation of Omega-3 for the prevention of preterm birth.
