Biography

Arno Parolini is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Applied Research in Effective Services (CARES) at the Department of Social Work, University of Melbourne where he focuses on areas of policy and program evaluation and the continuous quality improvement of human services. He also maintains a research affiliation with the California Child Welfare Indicators Project at the University of California at Berkeley. Among his research interests are models of decision making in human services, application of statistical and econometric models in social welfare, the investigation of system dynamics in child protection and the integration of information systems for research and evaluation. Arno holds a doctoral degree in economics and master degrees in economics as well as business administration. Arno has gained extensive work experience in academia, government and the not-for-profit sectors. He has been involved in various research and evaluation projects for local, state and federal governments in Australia, Singapore and Europe.
