Abstract

Biography

Hossai has a biomedical sciences degree (B Science-Adv Sci) from Western Sydney University. Her research journey began with a B Sci Honours degree at UNSW focused on cancer drug discovery. From cancer she then moved to neuroscience and completed a Master of Research with a thesis on discovering the pathogenic protein pathways that cause motor neuron disease. Currently, she is s doctoral candidate within the Australian Institute of Health Innovation, focusing on implementation science and how new technologies are integrated into the healthcare system. Hossai has over 12 years’ experience working within the healthcare and medical research industries. Her interests include equitable implementation of new healthcare technologies enabling patient-centered access to all populations.
