Biography
Karyn Galvin is an Associate Professor within the Department of Audiology and Speech Pathology at the University of Melbourne. She has been conducting research in the field of hearing impairment since 1989. Karyn has worked on projects involving children and adults using tactile devices, advanced hearing aids, and cochlear implants. Her broad areas of expertise are in the evaluation of auditory perceptual abilities, evidence-based practice, clinical management of severe profound hearing loss, and research translation.
