Biography
Dr Rachel Walker holds a conjoint appointment as a Research Fellow with the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Griffith University and the Division of Surgery, Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Her current research interests are focused on skin integrity (including pressure injury prevention and treatment and acute and chronic wounds), vascular access, symptom management (patient clinical deterioration) and electronic health systems. Her methodology expertise includes quantitative methods (survey, RCT, meta-analysis), qualitative (observational, focus), knowledge translation and systematic reviews (Cochrane).
